Patio Herbs And Infused Cocktails
This 1.5 hour program immerses you in the knowledge of growing your own herbs and producing simple syrups in creating infused cocktails. Participants will bring 3 samples of infusion home as well as a choice of 3 plants. Presented by Suzanne Bergeron from Gathered and Grown Family Farms. 18+ Limited Spots Available: Registration Required - 30$

Music in the park: Daniel Gervais
Daniel has been playing the violin since the age of five. He plays a variety of fiddle styles and classical violin. Daniel completed a Master of Music degree in classical violin at the University of Alberta studying with Dr. Guillaume Tardif. During his studies, Daniel was awarded a prestigious research grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada

Join us for an evening full of fun with colours including chalk, watergun painting, fun games and a tie die station! Bring your own object to tie die or purchase a T-shirt from the library!

Story Telling Workshop
This program provides training for parents and teachers on how to bring a story alive for children to encourage them to read. For over fifteen years, Teresita Ulloa has been a senior Library Assistant at the San Ignacio Public Library, using drama and theatrical techniques to foster a love of reading. Her creative approach has earned her wide acclaim.

Author Talk : Lee Hamelin
Lee Hamelin was forcibly removed from his home during what became known as the Sixties Scoop. Rather than succumb to trauma and despair, however, Lee thrived in his new home, aided in no small part by his loving foster parents. While he and his wife, Paulette, have suffered their own personal traumas, including the loss of two children, they have managed to maintain a positive outlook on life, aided in no small part by their strong Christian faith. This is his first book.
